Affiliate Program
Affiliate Program Terms
1. What this is
Co-Creative Digital operates an affiliate referral program. As an affiliate, you can earn recurring commissions by referring new customers to our Growth System Plans (Starter or Pro). This Agreement governs the terms of your participation.
By signing up as an affiliate via our affiliate portal (powered by SureCart), you accept these terms.
2. Commission structure
Current commission rate: 10% recurring
You earn 10% commission on every monthly (or annualised monthly equivalent) subscription payment a referred customer makes to Co-Creative Digital, for as long as that customer remains an active subscriber — for the lifetime of the customer relationship.
Commission applies to the customer’s base subscription fee (Starter $197/month, Pro $397/month, or annualised equivalents), calculated on the standard rate the customer pays once any promotional or introductory discount has expired.
Commission is not paid on:
- Promotional or discounted introductory pricing during the discount period
- Refunded, charged-back, or reversed payments
- Wallet usage credits or wallet top-up payments
For a limited time, in addition to Growth Plan subscription fees, we will pay commission for lifetime on:
- High-ticket services – Scope-of-work fees or custom project work invoiced under the MSA
- One-time fees (onboarding, migration, Site Freeze setup, Site Freeze reactivation, additional WordPress site activation fees)
The 10% rate is the current rate and applies for the lifetime of every customer you refer while you are an active affiliate. We reserve the right to change the commission rate for new affiliate enrollments in the future. Existing affiliates’ rates on existing referrals are not retroactively reduced if the rate changes.
3. How a referral qualifies
A referral qualifies for commission if all of the following are true:
- A new customer signs up for a Growth System Plan via your unique affiliate link or referral code
- The customer was not a Co-Creative Digital customer at any point since January 2019
- The customer was not in an active sales conversation with Co-Creative Digital before clicking your affiliate link
- The customer’s first subscription payment clears in full (no chargebacks, NSF, or fraud reversal)
- The signup occurs within the cookie attribution window — currently 60 days from the customer’s first click on your affiliate link
If a referred customer self-cancels and rejoins later through the same affiliate, the rejoin counts as a new referral subject to the same qualification criteria.
Self-referrals (signing up using your own affiliate link, on your own behalf or for any business you control) are not eligible for commission.
4. Payment
- Commissions are calculated monthly based on cleared subscription payments from your referrals
- Minimum payout threshold: $50 CAD (commissions accumulate until threshold is reached, then paid out)
- Payments are issued via the payment method linked to your SureCart affiliate account
- Commissions accrue but are not paid out until the customer’s underlying payment has fully cleared, including any chargeback window (typically 30 days from the underlying subscription payment)
- Tax forms: Affiliates earning above applicable Canadian and US reporting thresholds will receive the appropriate tax form (T4A for Canadian residents, 1099-NEC or equivalent for US residents). Affiliates outside Canada and the US are responsible for declaring affiliate income according to their local tax obligations.
5. What you can and can’t do
You can:
- Promote Co-Creative Digital on your website, podcast, newsletter, social media, paid advertising, and other lawful marketing channels
- Use our publicly available marketing assets, screenshots, and pricing information from our public site
- Disclose your affiliate relationship as required by your jurisdiction (we recommend doing so always — see Section 6)
You can’t:
- Bid on Co-Creative Digital trademarked or brand-name keywords in paid search advertising (e.g., Google Ads bidding on “Co-Creative Digital,” “Co-Create CRM,” or close variants)
- Use deceptive or misleading domains that imply official affiliation (e.g., “co-creative-official.com”)
- Send unsolicited email (spam) promoting our service in violation of CASL, CAN-SPAM, or any other applicable anti-spam law
- Misrepresent our pricing, plan features, support terms, or any other aspect of our service
- Make claims about specific results, ROI, or business outcomes our customers will achieve — only describe what’s promised in our published terms (WMA, MSA)
- Self-refer (sign up using your own affiliate link, or refer a business you control)
- Promote our service in any context that violates our content acceptance standards (WMA §4.5)
6. Disclosure
You’re responsible for complying with disclosure laws in your jurisdiction:
- United States: FTC Endorsement Guides require clear and conspicuous disclosure of affiliate or material relationships
- Canada: Competition Bureau guidelines require disclosure of material connections in influencer marketing
- United Kingdom and EU: ASA/CMA guidelines and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations apply
- Other jurisdictions: local equivalent rules apply
We recommend a clear, plain-language disclosure on any page or post containing affiliate links, in language your audience will understand. Failure to disclose material relationships can put you and us at legal and reputational risk.
7. Termination
Either party can end the affiliate relationship at any time:
- You may leave the program at any time by contacting support@co-creative.digital. Your existing referrals continue to earn you commission for as long as those customers remain active subscribers, subject to the qualification rules in Section 3 and the conduct rules in Section 5.
- We may terminate your participation for material breach of this Agreement (including spam, misrepresentation, brand misuse, content acceptance violations, or fraud). In termination for material breach, future commissions are forfeited; previously earned commissions already approved for payout will be paid in the next regular payout cycle.
8. Confidentiality
Aggregate commission rates and payout structures described in this Agreement are public. Specific customer names, account information, dashboard analytics, or conversion data shared with you through the affiliate portal is confidential and may not be republished or shared with third parties without our written consent.
9. Updates
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes (such as a commission rate change affecting your future referrals) require at least 30 days’ written notice and apply only to new referrals signed up after the change takes effect. Existing referrals continue under the terms in effect when they were referred.
10. Governing law and disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes follow the same dispute-resolution process described in MSA §13: informal resolution first, then mediation in Nanaimo, British Columbia, then courts in Nanaimo if mediation does not resolve the matter within 60 days.
11. Relationship between parties
You participate as an independent contractor. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, agency, or joint-venture relationship between you and Co-Creative Digital.
